Traditionally styled leather bags slip over Creedmore sights to protect them. Small bag fits over front sight and large bag fits over tang sight.

Leather Sight Bags,January 6, 2009

"These are the right size, but they are of poor quailty and have ruff sides inside and out and shead. Large peggin bag string broke second time I tightened it. They did give me a good pattern to make my own out of some Elk hide I have."

Sight bags,November 28, 2006

"The Sharps rifles that Cabela's sells are a work of art. Only problem is, how do you transport and shoot them without buggering up the fine looks. Using a Vernier or Soule sight means that, when folded (either forward or back), you need to cover them or they'll ding your stock, scatch your metal, and, in both cases, beat up your sights.
Get the sight bags. You can dismount your sights (kinda irritating) and put em in the bag. Or (what I do) you can slide the bags on top of your front and rear sights, and fold the rear back without worrying about denting the wood. I slide the rifle into one of Cabela's economy fringed gun sleeves and off I go. No worying about dinging the barrel crown as the front sight cover adds extra padding to that area.
Why spend time worrying when a few bucks protects your investment and keeps the gun looking "old west"."
