Sight installation and use,October 6, 2008
By Anonymousfrom Texas, Cowboy Action Shooter
"I was a little taken aback initially upon receipt of the sight because the instructions for installation were limited and not written in English. However, I did manage to mount the sight after making a small alteration to the rear mounting screw hole (the hole is designed to accomodate small variances in the distance between the front and rear mounting holes, but, the distance needed to be elongated to match my rifle). A little grinding with my hand held grinder extended the mounting hole and the remainder of the installation went without incident. I bore sighted the rifle and the first shot from the rifle found the target and I didn't need to adjust the sights from their original position. I am shooting a Sharps 45-70 and the sights remained centered and didn't react negatively to the Sharp's recoil. I am well pleased with what I consider to be a good product, fairly priced."

Pedersoli midrange soule sight,August 19, 2008
By AC540from Spring Hill, Florida
"I mounted the Pedersoli midrange sight on a Pedersoli Adobe Walls rolling block rifle, and I have used this setup at the range twice. One time at 200 meters and once at 100 meters. The sight, rifle and load proved to be accurate, and repeatable, but there was a glitch when installing the sight. The sight would not fold flat after installation. The index notches at the bottom of the staff had to be judiciously filed and stoned in order for the sight to be folded down. I was a little annoyed at having to do this after spending over $400.00 for the sight combination. I had to place a .003" shim under the right side of the sight base in order to plumb the sight staff, but Pedersoli advised this may have to be done. I had to place a .003" shim under the front sight, in the dovetail also. Once these problems were addressed, the sight combination performed very well, and I am pleased with the overall result. I just hope Pedersoli will receive this feedback, and correct this issue so other customers will not have to risk ruining an expensive sight by improperly filing or grinding away too much metal."

Pedersoli Mid Range Sight,August 4, 2008
By achpamsinfrom Ohio
"The sight was of quality construction and easy to install. Markings are clear and easy to read. Very good instuctions included on how to install and use the sight. I set it up, took it to the range and shot a 4 shot 1 1/4 inch group at 100 yds with my random handloads. The fifth shot opened it up to 2 inches. Oh well, I'll work on that. The Hadley Eyedisk makes all the difference in varying light conditions. Comparing the stock sight to this one is comparing a Chevette to an Escalade. Money well spent as far as I am concerned."

Pedersoli Soule Sight,September 3, 2007
By omgbfrom CA
"I bought this three years ago and have been happy with it. The sight works well but does have a tad more backlash than I would have liked. Still, it's very repeatable. The Long Range sight has enough elevation to put BP loads of 550 grains bullets in the black at 1000 yards with my 45-90. The only down side is the box, it is poorly built and allows the sight inserts to slip out of the joints when closed. Still, this is a good sight and suitable for competition. The eye cup diopter is a very tight adjustment :( but the over-all marking and finish is very good to excellent."
