"I have been using these pellets out of my 1858 "New Army" revolvers for alot of years, and under all sorts of weather conditions. I have used them in wet and snowy weather and have not had a problem. I was not aware that there was a black powder strip on one end, so after shooting many cans of these over the years i am shure i have shot them both ways and have not noticed a differance!"

"This product does not work. I used Remington Caps and CCI Caps in my 1858 New Army 44 cal. pistol. The powder charge refused to ignite. I switch back to the loose Pyrodex powder and got ignition. I don't know what the proble is with these pellets, but the truth is, they don't work."

"I recently purchased a continer of Pyrodex .44 caliber 30 grain pellets for use in my Ruger Old Army revolver. The pellets are a breeze to use and produced amazingly good results at 25 yards with .457 diameter ball loaded with a .060 fiber wad. This is fun shooting!"

"simply put......... they're great for anyone who shoots blackpowder a lot and doesn't want to spend a lot of time reloading.
