"I was disappointed with the MTM Pistol and Ammo Wallets. The slots were not uniform and some would not hold the cartridges.
I bought wallets for 38 special / 357 and 9mm.
Particularly problematic were the ones for the 9 mm cartridges.
The concept is good but the quality is lacking.
I did not return the products because it would have cost me more in shipping than the defective units value."

"I have had and used other versions of this product for many years, but the new one I purchased was of very poor quality and manufacture material.
The latch broke the first time I tried to close the ammo wallet. It appears to be made of really brittle plastic material now and I was very disappointed.
The older ones I own and have used for many years were of a more plyable and less brittle material and still function perfectly to this date. The company has apparently gone to a substandard material for manufacture and it does not work (at least my new one didn't). I am holding the unit closed with rubber bands at this point.
I may never buy another one of them due to this experience and for sure would not recommend the purchase of this item to anyone now."

MTM Rifle Ammo Wallet 22-250 - 375,

"I have used this product for over 30 years. I have carried ammunition in them in the Deep South, Midwest and West Coast of the United States. I have also used one in South Central Africa as well. I currently own over 15 of them in large pistol, small rifle and large rifle as well. Some have teeth marks from large rats, scars from falling out of trucks, off of 4 wheelers and dirt from dried mud, while others are pristine. None of them have ever failed even though several have been through torture. I have used them in 100 plus degree F heat as well as 8 degree F cold. I am sold on the product!
For the money spent and the value returned, I have not yet found anything better. The larger caliber brass does need to be alternated bullet up and then bullet down, in order to fit, but that is of no significance.
What more needs to be said. For me, it has been a good product for many years. I use them year round and whenever and whereever I go, if I am going to carry ammunition, at least one of these goes with me."
