"This box is pretty good. I have not had it for very long, the hinge is plastic and looks like it may wear out over time, but we will see. It was worth the money.
My friends all use similar boxes for dove hunting and it is very handy."

Take out the top tray and store your ammo.
Then use the extra tray for a reloading tray."

"The case itself is pretty good for light use, but the main thing that needs improvement is the integral top/bottom hinge. Should it crack or simply wear out thru heavy use, either an external hinge of some kind will have to be attached with glue/screws or the old duct tape fix will have to be used. It'd be much better if an aluminum or brass rod was the hinge pivot, as that type seldom wears out. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to thicken the walls & make the locking slot on the top sturdier, as it feels like the case would pop open when full of loaded ammo if dropped from a height of 2 feet/more on a moderately hard surface."

"Box has proved to be sturdy. Much easier to organize and stronger than the cardboard shell boxes. I purchased one for 20 gauge and one for 12 gauge. Would purchase again if needed."

"This is my first shotshell box and it will probably be my only one. It is made from extremely durable plastic that will protect all that expensive ammo. The shotshells fit very nice, but will come lose if the box is tipped or rolled around. Overall I am very pleased with this product."

"Like the other reviewer mentions... if these cases roll over or get put on their sides, the shells can fall out of the shell holders. However, you can fix this with a little egg crate mattress foam or such cut to size. It compresses when you close the box, yet the shells can't fall out.
Also, they shed water, but are not waterproof."

"This is a great way to carry your spare shells. When I head out in the morning I just put it in the back seat of the truck with the shotgun. I have a mix of all different kinds of shells. If we start the day deer hunting I have slugs and buckshot at my disposal. If we end up rabbit or squirrel hunting that evening I can access the lower compartment for a ready supply. With cardboard boxes they used to get wore out and fall apart with the least little bit of moisture. This is one nice box and seems very sturdy."
