I have recently purchased a Lyman Tripper Pull Gauge which I find to meet or exceed all advertisements.
It was a real eye opener when various triggers were weighed. Some were higher and some were lower, but, the scale worked very well especially the ageraging function.

Comes with a soft case for storage nice extra touch. Can be used for pistols or rifles gauge has long enough bend to be used in bench stands for acccurate readings."

"This gauge is so easy to use, and i like how it gives you an average result of up to 10 trigger pulls so you can get a more accurate result. Just hook the roller lever to the trigger where you would put your trigger finger and just slowly pull on it. I would recommend this product to anyone."

"At first it takes a while to get used to the gauge, this is because it is really sensitive. After you have gotten used to using it you can get really accurate trigger pull readings, I know because it helped me get the trigger pull weight for a Remington X-Mark Pro trigger down to an average of 950 grams!!
This gauge is good because it even calculates the averages for you, something that saves you a little bit of work and time.
This is a great product that I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend, or in fact anyone who is looking to accurately adjust the trigger on their rifle!!!!!!!!"

"The gauge is quite easy to use, however keep in mind that it only goes up to 12 Pound of trigger pull. Many double action revolvers near or exceed that amount of pull. My revolvers have action jobs and this is not a problem when measuring pull weight on them as they run as little as 8 pounds 8 oz."
