"This would be a great product if the price was around $80.00. As mentioned by other reviewers, the container is very small but holds a significant amount of powder and that was not an issue with me. The reason that I give it 2 stars is because it is grotesquely overpriced for what you get."

"I can only echo what others have posted - if you were not processing the measurements when you ordered this puppy, you will be shocked when you see you how small a container your money buys. It appears to be very well made and finished and the locks work smoothly. (I like the fact each lock is separately keyed). Some minor carping: since the manufacturer has eliminated the legs, you may be forced to spring for the optional little wheels to get the box off the floor and away from any possibility of contracting dampness, beause the bottom is pre-drilled and the holes invite that if the box is placed in the wrong place with the wrong floor. Wheels are well made with good 360 movement, but the screws provided with them are too short, particularly if you do what I did and add some additional protection from sparking by gluing 3/8th plywood to the bottom and sides. So you will have to get some longer screws at the hardware store. All in all a well made item you really need to have if you are stockpiling any amount of black powder, but unfortunately, pricey for what it is. To the best of my knowledge, Cabela's is the only retailer that has something like this box ready made, so your only alternative is to build your own. I had no customer service issue with this purchase, but I will just throw in gratutiously that I have shopped at Cabelas periodically for years, and in my humble experience this retailer has never done anything but stand behind its sales 100%."

"I was surprised how small the powder storage container was (did not pay attention to the measurements). It really stores 50# of powder. The box is well built. It comes with Fed. info on laws regarding powder storage. The price seems high, but you will be within the law. I recommend the casters so it can easly be easly moved."
