Tired of Replacing ProMariner Chargers,May 31, 2009

"I have used these unreliable chargers for 3 years and I am on my third unit. If you like replacing your charger every year, than these are the ones for you. They work great when they are working, and the company repairs them for free, but I have better things to do with my time, like fish. I would not reccommend these chargers, and I am replacing mine with a different manufacturer. Cabelas should discontinue selling this junk."

"The ProTournament300 stated capabilities are misleading. The unit is strictly 12volt output. The claim of 12/24/36 volts is just not true. If you are looking for a true 24v or 36v charger don't waste your time with this one."

"I fish Bass Tourament when this charger is working it's great. Purchased in April of 2008 by June it's not working. Call factory had a replacment in about 5 working days. The replacment only lasted 5 weeks now I'm waiting for their call back. With no battery power to the the trolling motor your dead in the water"

"Cant say enough about how nice this unit is!! I run my boat a few times a week guiding bow fishing trips for alligator gar and depend on my trolling motor for the work horse of my rig.Without the quik charge of my new charger i would be stranded! From the time i get off the water my new charger gets my 36v system ready to go for the next morning out.Big thumbs up!"

"I recently bought and installed the Pro Tournament 300L On Board Charger on one of my boats. I love this thing!! With the 36 volt trolling system that we use, it charges quickly and helps to maintain the charge. It works perfect, when we come in late at night and plug the charger in, it's ready to go by the time we pull out the next morning with a full charge on the batteries. I recommend this on board charger to anyone using anything other than the easy to remove single battery setup."
