"I really like the Fathead jigs because they stay on the bottom with the flat bottom design. Whether I am fishing Canada or my home waters they have out performed typical jig heads. I have also got my son now using the Fathead jigs and he agrees that they perform better than typical jigs."

"great jigs for the walleyes, only drawback is the cheap (easily chipped) paint jobs. ordered 6 bags so far and have always had some of them already chipped just from the shipping. 1 or 2 per bag so far for each bag. if they didn't work though i would not have reordered."

"Cabela's Fathead Walleye Jigs are the best jigs I have used for Walleye to date. Fished the Ottawa River in Ontario Canada in late Sepember 2006 and simply picked one fish after another. Drifted a section of river with a 3/8 oz Chartruese jighead tipped with a minow. My fishing partner Chris and I where even asked by others fishing near us what we where using since we had three to four fish on each drift through a pod of fish which we located on our fish finder. Others where catching a fish or two but we where loading up with the Fathead Jig. Using braided line to feel the light bite coupled with the design of the jighead, allowed just the right fall to attract those walleye's looking to fatten up for the winter.
Good quality, good design, sharp hooks = good fishing !!!"
