Best boards I have ever owned,April 16, 2007

"I have owned a few other brands and these are the ones I am sticking with. Nice pinch style release and I have not had a premature pop yet. Seems to work well with all types of line and they handle waves and calm no problem. I use them for Lake trout and salmon fishing on Lake Superior in the early and late season and love them."

"Just go around the lake on any day of the year, and use your binoculars to check what planer boards are being used by all the guides and serious striper fisherman.....it will be the Offshore Side Planers.
I used less expensive brands for years thinking I was saving money. Then I tried the Offshore Planars, and the versatility and quality immediately showed me why I should switch. When you troll a spread of 8 boards at a time, the amount of money out there on the water is not trivial. But I won't ever think of using another board.
I have been able to troll a wider range of weighted live bait rigs with more precision since I switched. And there is no doubt that I have caught more fish. This is a tool that any serious trolling fisherman should invest in."
