"This is clearly a general purpose bracket. If the Vista GPS is fully seated down, the side buttons are covered. Mounting requires drilling holes too. However, once you get the GPS seated, it does hold very well. I would not say this is a bracket for the smaller Garmin Vista series GPS. Having additional mounts would be nice too."

"Purchased for an eTrex Vista CX - for use in vehicle and on kayak - holds firmly, very secure - very easy to install - removes easily from base to transfer between truck and kayak - only one minor complaint: fit is not prefect, leaving the submenu button on the right side of eTrex a little hard to depress"

"THIS UNIT IS OF VERY GOOD QUALITY ,IT HAS AN EXCELLENT RANGE OF MOVEMENT AND IS VERY SIMPLE TO USE. I MOUNTED THE RAM IN MY BOAT AND THE SPACE ON THE DASH WAS LIMITED DUE TO THE FISH FINDER BUT WITH THE RANGE OF MOVEMENT WITH THIS MOUNT A LITTLE OFFSET WAS ALL THAT WAS NEEDED AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS MADE TO BE THERE."

"This Garmin eTrex RAM Mounting Bracket is perfect on the dash of my
Polaris Ranger. It can be adjusted to face any direction side to side and
up and down. It is very solid yet easy to adjust and remove the GPS unit.
The entire Mounting system can be removed leaving just the bottom plate if you are worried about looks when it is not in use."

"Excellent way to mount GPS. If your GPS is shock sensitive, such as mine, you may have to line the mount with foam tape. Has survived two rollovers on the ATV."
