Cabela's 360HT Rod Holder with Flush Mount Base

The Standard 360HT rod holder offers a flush-mount base for mounting on horizontal surfaces. It features a rear saddle that accepts all types of rod and reel combinations. A large, smooth swivel-locking ring prevents rod loss, and the 110? vertical swivel movement allows easy rod positioning for trolling and can even secure the rod and reel vertically when it's time to relocate. Requires a 1-3/8" hole. Colors: Black, White, Gray, Sand. We are so confident in our rod holders, we make a very unusual offer for this day and age. "This rod holder is the complete package. Durable, versatile, functional, reasonably priced and good looking. I fish mostly flatheads and have a number of mounts located around the boat that I can access depending on the situation. The flush mount option allows me to move the holders around the boat at will, but when not in use maintain a neat and clutter free appearance.

I don't use the reel clicker, but instead allow the fish to load the rod against the tension of the rod in the holder. Needless to say, when one of those boys draws the rod down, the pressure on the rod holder can be pretty stout, but I have never had one come close to failing or under performing.

Buy this rod holder and use the heck out of it, you won't be sorry."

360 HT rod holder, May 11, 2009

"I installed them and weny out that day. I trowlred for awhile and tested them right away. I hooked up with a 3.5lb skeckled trout and had no problem.
The next day I went out to the Rigolets and had two poles out as I went under the bridge. Bam I hooked up on the first pole. While bringing in the first red the drag on the second one started singing at me. My wife was with me, not a fishing person, so I told her to fish with the one I had on. As I staerted with this rod I knew I had a hog on. When it got the I found a twenty pound black drum.
I guess I tested them.
Anyone needing rod holders will be very happy with these.

"These rod holders are nice and heavy duty, but be prepared to have to drill a 1 3/8 hole in your boat and then 4 more little holes to mount the base. Also really dont hold a spinning reel properly."

"well made, works well, the impression in the top of the holder is designed for a spin casting reel, I use an open face reel and the reel hangs out to the side, it works but is not ideal."

"Best rod holder EVER!

I've used several brands before but none even come close. Installation was very easy and the flush mounts look slick. They've stood up to a whole year of heavy use now and I expect them to stand up to many more."

"We absolutely love the flush mount idea. in ski mode the rod holders are not even noticable. BUT...... with the rod holders in, the design of our deck boat makes the positioning uncomfortable. The butta of the poles hang down too low, making it very limited in the position in which you can have your pole resting while fishing.
The "extensions" are a must.. in our situation anyway...., should be offered with extensions in a package as well as without."

"I ordered 2 of these rod holders w/ bases in tan (so the color match would be pleasing to my wife, not the fish). They mounted quickly, easily, and are solid. I could not find any in stores where I live that had the flush mount. And they only had black and white ones locally. I wanted them for when my nephews got here. I helped them catch their first Mackinaw (lake trout)! They each caught an 8 pounder!!! Thank you Cabela's!"
