"I have 4 360HT and 2 Quick draw holders. I love these things they work great. Also can use the base for other things like anchor lock or bumpers. I even have a cutting board on one intended for fish finder."

"these rod holders were used for trolling lake erie with big jon type dipsy divers for walleye and they did work good the flip up was real good for getting the rods out of the holder but they are alittle flimsey and twisted back with the pull from the divers but they did get the job done and never gave us any problems. (i did replace back pins with bolts i had problems with these coming out before. didnt want to take any chances)"

"Easy to install and operate. More than stong enought to pull a Walker Deeper Diver up to 65 mm. Stonger rod holders are better for 82 mm and up. The QuickDraw is a very good light trolling gear."

"Bought 2 of the Quickdraw 360HT and I love them, Not sure why I waited this long to purchase them. Makes it a lot easier in the boat if you need to grab something, just put it in the holder. Pulling plugs, put the rod in the holder and watch the rod tip. These are built tough and they arent going to break. Great product. Easy to get the rod out and easy to rotate!!"

"The quick draw idea is great and sets the hook when extracting your rod. The one problem I see is that there is no safety ring to prevent your rod from being pulled out of the rodholder. When trolling for 20 pound pike and salmon in Ireland the safety feature is really a must. Hate to lose a fish and really hate to lose my expensive rig. Otherwise a great rod holder at a reasonable price."

"Very well built. Easy removal of your rod. I fish mostly for pan fish, so an attack on the rod is usually not violent. If I were regularly after larger game fish, I'd probably get the 360HT. Only from a safety stand point, to prevent possible rod loss. For my use, the quickdraw is perfect."

"I am so happy I chose the QuickDraw Rod Holder. This product is made of high quality material and the best thing about it, is how easy it is to use. Last week while using the rod holder I had a walleye strike. With ONE motion I grabbed my pole and it was in my hand with "Fish On". No fumbling for levers or releases. It's a great product. I will definately use only the QuickDraw Rod Holder from Cabela's on any future boat I own."

"I have done a lot of trolling this fall and winter in NC for Strippers using Cabelas Holographic #4 blades with live 4"-6" shiners and found the Quick draw holders to work very nicely. When I hook a fish or snag on the bottom it is much easier to remove the spinning rod by just pulling it in an upward motion, rotating it to a nice position to remove the rod and land the fish or break off the line. I have not tried my casting rods in these holders as of yet, though I do have long handles on my St Croix Triump ML casting rods and they should work nicely, but not with trolling boards due to the angle at which they move away from the boat. Using my older Tite-Lok® Rod Holders, I lost 3 new St Croix rods & reels while trying to remove them during a snag-up where the line pressure jerks the rod right out of my hand aftrer I get it out of the holder, problem solved with the QuickDraw. I really reccommend these for horizontal/vertical rod trolling.

Out of the box the 360HT holders are heavy duty but have a very tight rotating keeper ring that locks the rod into the holder. The 360HT holders are not spinning reel friendly, they sit in the holder at an awkward angle making it hard to remove the rod easily and comfortably to fight the fish. They need to have a design that has a deeper groove in the rear end of the holder to accomodate accepting spinning reel handles more conveniently, maching the hand position. They are heavy duty, well built and very rugged, almost too bulky but honestly I am using a Berkley rod holder with the same concept. They have a smaller diameter tube, locking ring, and has a deeper pocket for the spinning reel and work much smoother. Right now my 360HT Rod Holders are resting in the front compartment of my boat for trial at another time. NOTE: If I were to be catching much larger fish, the 360HT Rod Holders would be my preferred choice for casting rod holders, not spinning rods."

"The quickdraw rod holder is sturdy and solid, however, the release is too tight. I took my grinder to the lip on the sleeve and rod holder portion to allow an easier pull when setting the hook. This might not matter as much on a solid gunwale mount but if you use this on a kayak like I do then it will likely be too hard to release."
