"Second one Ive owned and they last me 4-5 years. I put these coats through the worst possible scenarios and I'm always impressed. Carhartt is the only brand work jacket I will ever buy, Ive had others and nothing compares."

"The Carhartt Classic Duck Active Jacket is reasonably priced and appears to be very well made. It is warmer than you would think, thanks to the lining. It seems to shed drizzling rain. The zipper is brass, not plastic. This jacket is cut very full, so you should be able to order your regular size, or maybe even order one size down. Mine is almost too big, but I like it anyway."

"The Charthartt Classic duck Active Jacket was purchased as a Christmas gift for my 17-year-old grandson who is a junior in high school. He put it on immediately upon opening it, and I have not seen him out of it. He says it is "Way Cool"---especially the Carhartt brown color."

"Well my girlfriend has a really nice Carhartt black jacket and I wanted to get the same thing. Got online and bought what I had thought was the right jacket. Got here in good time, exactly what I ordered, just wasnt happy with the jacket. Had nothing to do with Cabela's or the jacket. I just goofed. Honestly if your going to get a jacket and spend as much as a Carhartt costs then you should go to the store. Also, if you have someone that has a Carhartt and want the same type then there is a code on the tag. This will help out ALOT in your search for your perfect jacket. Luckily, there is a Cabela's about an hour away so we took a little road trip and I exchanged the jacket with no problems what so ever. AGAIN, this had nothing to do with Cabela's or anything to do with Carhartt, just my great ways of paying attention to detail."

"This is a great jacket but not alot of insulating qualities. It is great for cool weather or working but it is not something you want when it is really cold. Everything it is advertised to be."

"very nice jacket. not to thick to be worn around all day but keeps your plenty warm. lots of pockets that fit almost anything in it. my only issue that that i keep finding threads sticking up at the seams. but this is fixed by using a pair of scissors. nothing has came apart so it isnt a big deal"

"Well, this is my first Carhartt jacket, and I can see why they're so famous for hard working workwear. The jacket is tough and perfectly warm for fall and spring (and good for layering in the winter). Quailty all around. Nice details like "floating" cuffs and heavy duty zipper."
