walleyes in difficult conditions,June 17, 2008
By nofishumfrom SW MICHIGAN
"Took 10 dozen to fly in camp in Canada. Snowed 6out of 7 days with water temps way below normal.First day I caught 75% of all walleye caught by our group of 14. Everyone switched and caught fish. REd & white and chartruesse were the hot colors. WE tippid with live minnows and ended up catching 50-75 walleye each per day"

Use of Jigs,May 29, 2008
By Poopseyfrom Cynthiana,Ky
"They work just wonderful. I buy them every year. They along with a 4 or 5" grub work wonderful for the Smallmouth fishing in Lake St. Claire in late May. Have been going for 19 years and use to use Bomber jigs that use to be called Doll Fly jigs, however they have been discoutinued. I would be nice if the head was redesigned to be pointed instead of round. Biggest smallmouth on these is 7Lb 1 oz."

marabou jigs,May 19, 2008
By backusitefrom Backus, MN
"I have used these since the Bass Busters were dicontinued by Johnson and there isn't anything comparable on the market. The only thing that would make them better would be a gold hook. In the 1/16 oz, there isn't a finer crappie jig made."

Marabou Jigs,April 26, 2008
By CTroutfrom Los Angeles, California
"I have been a jig fisherman for years. Use mostly marabous and have caught multiple 10 pound plus rainbows on them. The problem is the quality has gone down in recent years. I have let them know too. Try to stay away from the Chartreuse and the Orange/Brown ones. I have had to send back several times and they get replaced with other terrible quality. Seems to be better quality on the white, black, and yellow. I have fished from the Great Lakes to New Zealand with them."

Marabou Jigs,July 16, 2007
By Bezalfrom Moorhead, MN 56560
"I have used Marabou Jigs for years and have caught 95% of my fish with them. I never have to use live bait since using them. I use all different colors and they all work for northern pike, crappies and bass. Probably the favorite color is orange and brown combination."

not to shabby,June 22, 2007
By ilovefishingfrom manchester, IA
"smallest size you can get in yellow and black are sometimes even better than metallic lures for stream trout. I think the black can resemble bugs if dragged across the bottom. this way you can use something that looks like a bug without being a flyfisherman. *for best results use 1 or 2 pound test line."

walleye treat,May 12, 2007
By heavyhockeyfrom North Bay ,Ontario Canada
"These are the best marabou jigs on the market today. I do alot of walleye fishing in Northern Quebec and Northern Ontario and Have been very successful using these baited with either a worm or a leetch. The quality of these jigs allows me to use the same jig day after day. If I could make one suggestion it would be to make more colors available. What has proven very successful in our area is a flourescent orange jig with orange hair."

Marabou jigs,April 24, 2007
By LearJet
"I use the black marabou jigs primarily for ice fishing here in Western Wyo. They have been the best producer for large rainbows, cutthroat and brown trout in the Green River Drainage. It is one of the only two colors I use for trout."
