"i had this lure stolen from me and i been looking for this bait in my local sport store couldnt find it. i looked all over for this lure!! welll guess what i found it!! i look up and down cause of the out come with this lure.. i been fishing lake vinyard for a long time now and well the fish dont get all that big due to the over fishing. well with this lure i find the big ones i was fishing around 1 in the morning on a lil 12 ft boat. i threw it near some lilly pads poped it a cupple of time and a fish hit with this whoolmmp sound. it gave me chills down my spine i knew it was a big fish but i did not get it yet. i threw it over there a few more times it stoped biteing so i figured id leave the area and come back from a differnt angle. well i did and i threw my line out and got a chance to pop it a cupple of times and i got a call on my cell with my lure in the water. well if u knew my gf you would know to awnser it right away too well i did and next thing you know i was saying bye!! my line was geting draged acrossed the water i knew it was that big fish i was looking for it was the biggest ive pulled out of that lake in 9 years roughly 5 to 7 lbs 21 22 inches long bass but i do catch and release got a picture with it and and let it go! best bass out of this lake in a long time!! i was useing the silver!! middle size now i got two of each color in my tackle and that gets locked up with me in my room at night!!!"

"This lure got me hooked (and many fish) on top-water fishing!!! Easy to cast, durable quality you expect from Rapala and very versatile. When nothing else is working, I tie one of these on my baitcaster and get my scale and pliers ready. Ive caught nothing but large fish on my 3 1/2" Lime Frog. That's my "go-to lure." For some reason, even if the fish aren't biting on anything else, they attack this lure with NO MERCY!! Nothing compares to these!"

"i picked these up a year ago and never used them.... i seen they where the best popper so i picked to use the firetiger and the toad looking one........ well... last friday...... i took a day off summer school to go fishing..... yes im in summer school because..... ice fishing.... was on my mind last winter..... so anyways.... me and my buddy went fishing and i ran out off of scum frogs.... which i was slaying them on... so i went to the popper... the only topwater i had left and lets just say.... the 47 bass we took that day... the 3 biggest were caught on this.... my buddy was using a frog and hula popper but this thing in the pocket amazing..... ps i am using the biggest size they offer on this web site... its like 4 inches long or something....."

"I love this popper. I've caught more and bigger fish on the Skitterpop than I've caught on high-dollar poppers like the Splash-It and Team Daiwa popper.
Reeling in the slack and giving the bait a short, sharp twitch gives you what I'd call a "slapping" sound and spits water for a few feet. I've not really seen a similar spit/slap in any other popper.
Another thing that I think might add to the appeal of this bait is the organic shape. When viewed from underneath, even the nose of the bait is more rounded off and natural looking than other poppers, which often have a flat and squared-off front.
It feels awfully light, so I think it must be made of balsa. It has a less obnoxious sound upon splashing down onto the water's surface than other poppers. It just seems to me like it's a more natural splash, with more fish appeal.
I'm a one-trick pony, and really only fish for smallies in rivers. I can't comment on how it does on lakes or for other species."

"This lure proved to be extrememly effective on small mouth bass in Ontario last spring during a two week canoe trip. Although only two were brought along and eventually lost to northerns they were effective on bass when cast close to shore, rocks, and other structure during glassy conditions. A slight twitch following a moment of stillness after the cast was most effective in bringing consistent strikes by bass of all sizes. An outstanding addition to your tackle box!"

"I have taken a liking to topwater baits within the last 3-4 years. I purchased the Skitter Pops after a couple of old time fishermen at our sportsmen club talked at length about them. On fathers day 2007 my 3rd cast landed a 2.5 lb largemouth. After fishing for approx. 3.5 hours a number of largemouth as well as rainbow trout were caught on the 2 colors i purchased.The Skitter Pop ,as you can well imagine, has become my favorite lure"
