"Any time I purchuse this type of fishing gear I usually like to break one open by passing a heavy wire through the eye and clasp then pulling until it breaks. These were surprisingly strong especially for the least expencive ones on the shelf."

Very poor quality,

"We purchased the brass snap swivels on our way to a fishing trip. The product is very poor quality. Several swivels broke apart while we were fishing. It was very frustrating to catch a fish only to have the swivel break losing not only the fish but several lures as well."

"These are very good quality swivels as a like to change lures often. I have yet to loose a fish because of the swivel failing. These are inexpensive and good quality, just remember to change them out after awhile as any wire will weaken as its opened and closed repeatedly. I have had some come apart which is why I rated it 4 stars but this has always happened before my line ever saw the water and I was able to grab another one that was fine. These babies save my tying time and my fishing line since I'm not constantly cutting and retying."

"value seems great - my son and I use them a lot - I suppose I could tie my lures on, but he can't yet and it helps him to be "like dad" if I use 'em too. they hold up fine and seem as well made as any others - just a whole lot cheaper."

"For the price these snap swivels work very well and I've used these type Cabela's snap swivels for many years. I have the occasional one where the little plate comes loose and drops (and I can't find it on the ground). However, that is only when putting on or taking off a lure. When the snap is snaped on a lure it is indestructible and 99.9% dependable. Recommended!"

"i'mve used these for many year's and like the way the work i got the size 14 for trout season do to the smaller the better they are trout can't see them and that's want i like and if you buy these in another sporting good's store you don't get as many as you do from cabela's and with cabela's thing's you get a lot more for your money once again i've said this before keep up the good work cabela's"
