"Got it for the quick release waist clip. Learned the hard way not to have lanyards hanging around your neck while fishing in a boat 6 hours a day in Manitoba. But this clip is cheap plastic, and I didn't like the clippers, and who needs another little knife. So, I decided the best way to do this is custom build this waist clip, keeping some of the components: I'll keep the cloth lanyard with the quick release clasp, but replace the belt clip with a metal mountain climbing type, I'll add a pair of clippers from my fly fishing gear( those are the best clippers), and I'll keep the hook sharpener, but throw away the knife. Also I'll add the nail knot tying tool."

"While jig fishing for walleye in Canada, this mini tool kit came in quite handy. The knife made it a little heavy around my neck but I simply removed it and used that clasp for my fishing license holder."
