weighted bobber,November 19, 2009
By JX8820from Phoenix, AZ
"A friend of mine let me use one of these bobbers on a recent trout fishing trip. He said he hadn't seen them in stores recently and he only had a couple left. They work well because the weight helps you cast farther than with a conventional plastic bobber. The weighted bobber also doesn't drift in breezy conditions like a plastic bobber. The next time I went to Cabelas I grabbed the last bag and gave half of them to my friend. Hopefully Cabelas will re-stock soon."

Weighted Floats by Betts,July 16, 2008
By LTopp18from Battle Creek, MI
"I first tried these 3 seasons ago while fishing for crappies and other panfish. I was very impressed with their durability (although the paint wears off after a while, which isn't important because you can see white fairly well anyway against the water). I am still using the same package I purchased 3 years ago and I fish at least 3 days a week all season long, so that is a testament to their durability. They are also easily transformed into a slip float by taking out the clasp rod with some needle nose pliers and just super gluing the plastic pieces in place. I definitely recommend these floats to anyone from ultralight fans to anyone who just wants a little extra oomph on their cast."

foam floats,July 23, 2007
By LB24from Marlborough, MA
"The greatest thing about these floats is they don't crack. I have many memories as a child of cracked pastic floats that fill with water and don't perform. You can bounce these floats of bridges and rocks etc. and they hold up. The only negative thing I have to say is sometimes the clasps on them are difficult to close."
