"All of the Berkley Power baits I have tried catch trout...and lots of them. Some days they may be biting it a bit slower than on others, but if you can't catch trout on Power Bait, then you are doing something wrong and should take up golfing."

"The Power Bait is a great product. I consider it better than Berkley's Gulp product in that it stays on the hook longer and is seemingly just as effective in catching fish. Why would one want to spend more money for the Gulp product versus the Power Bait product, especially when doing comparative trout fishing with both products, using same colors for both, there seems to be no difference in trout being caught?"

"I used the Bubblegum and Pink dough baits on the white river in Arkansas this summer, also used the Pink in New Hampshire. Limited out on rainbows but the browns don't seem to be interested in it. Very effective bait, make sure you have more than 1 jar because the attrition rate on this stuff is high. I carry at least 5 jars when I go trout fishing with it. Highly effective when used with a piece of raw shrimp or a floating Berkley Powerbait egg. You can also mix it up with beads, worms, marshmellows, etc."

"This is the best trout bait out there IMO. The rainbows and brookies love the stuff. The only problem with it is the fish hit it so fast you limit out in 20 mins. HA! The best color out here is Bubblegum."
