Outstanding hook,September 8, 2009
By JRelyeafrom Saddle Brook, NJ
"I only use the 1/0 & 5/0 circle hooks (if it can't take at least a 1/0, I don't want it). They're circle hooks, so they do tend to hook the lip as expected. New hooks have 2 spots of distinction on the hook that makes me think fish see them as blood drops. Once the hook has a little wear (even before the paint starts to wear) they disappear and the bite #s drop. I'm an absolute firm believer that these hooks make a significant difference are a number of guys now that fished with me. They saw their numbers increase (same boat, same day, same line, same presentation) when they switched to my hooks-- too many times for just a coincidence. All of us switch hooks as soon as the "magic dots" disappear because that matters. I've not had nearly as much success with any other red hook. Don't EVER change a thing Daiichi!"

great hooks,July 10, 2007

"I found the Daiichi D85Z easier to bait up on the water than other circle hooks, the tips are very sharp and they perform extremely well during the strike, the hooks twist for a solid hookset each time the ait is taken."
