This fluorocarbon is renowned for its invisibility, superior tensile and knot strength, abrasion-resistance and UV-resistance. The fluorocarbon construction will not absorb water like most monofilaments. Seaguar won't inhibit the action, so your lure looks natural in the water. Because it's invisible, you can use a higher strength line for your leader without fish seeing it. Comes in 50-yard spools. Available: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80-lb. test.

seemed like perfect leader material until...,July 6, 2009
By poopsfrom Hackettstown, New JErsey
"Seemed Ideal leader material for northern tournament.. diameter, visibility, abrasion resistance were awesome.. Then discovered some serious potential for wet knot slippage in 10# test leaders.
Dropped this as leads and stuck with 10# Maxima.."

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is.....,February 16, 2009
By congo99from northern IL
"The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is..... I haven't had a chance to fish with it yet. I've tied dozens of crawler harness with this material and have found it to be superior with the tying ease. I've heard nothing but good reports about this material."

"I've been using this product for the past five years when fishing the flats here in Florida. This leader is everythng the manufacturer says it is. It's strong, lightweight and disappears when in the water. I highly reccommend it."

Seaguar Flurocarbon Leader,January 16, 2008
By Pat77from Canberra Australia
"This type of leader material, given its fine diameter and abrasion resistance suits the conditions for which it is used, perfectly. The species that I pursue here in Australia demand the use of this type of leader in hard fished fisheries. One thing that greatly impresses is the material coming in 50yds spools. 100yds spools would be perfect but you cant have everything. I would throughly recommend its use for both fly tippets.and leaders for spinning in conjunction with braid lines.
