"These glasses are such a TREASURE. They are SO quickly and convieniently folded down and up, you almost forget to regret you need reading glasses!! Someone said they don't grip your brim- they grip mine like a vice. I deliver pizzas and they've never losened or moved even a hair. I leave 'em on my hat all day and evening, and wear my hat all day and evening. Before they arrived, I imagined the swivel might quickly become loose, but the glasses part is in the brim clamp part with a perpetual clamping force- should take years for the hinge to get loose, if ever. Another thing that's great, they never have to rest on your nose or ears- what a relief and a comfort break. You'll never loose 'em, if they are always on your hat. ... -Now, here is the ONE problem with these glasses.... They are too wide to fold way up into the curve of your cap brim. Then they are nearly in your sight's way when you are trying to drive or whatever. The very simple solution is to cut of grind them narrower. I took about 1/3 off the outer ends of each lens. Did it the first day I had em, used a bench grinder. Doesn't effect their usefullness a bit. Now they fold up out of my way, and are really protected up in the brim curve. It would be very hard to scratch them up there, and now they are more hidden. I expect them to escape scratches 500% better than my old reading glasses. If you absolutely depend on reading glasses, these will make you much happier than you are with standard reading glasses."

The description didn't explain the size of the glasses, I wish I would of went with the larger pair........go the next size up."

"These fold-away glasses are great if you only need glasses for reading or in my case any small close-up task. I use them out on the salt and with no metal parts to corrode they should last for some time. The convenience of not having to put glasses on each & every time I have to retie a rig or remove a "birds nest",(be honest-we all get 1 from time to time) is great. It did take me awhile to get use to them hanging on the brim of my hat, but now it has become second nature and I don't fish without them anymore. Try a pair, you won't be disappointed."

"I'm at the age that I needed bifocals, but didn't have them with my polarized fishing glasses. These worked perfectly. My wife thinks they look a bit goofy, but who cares, I can tie on a fly now. My only concern is that the plastic loop that connects to the bill of the cap will not last long. Great deal for the price."

"When I tried these glasses they looked very nice the clarity was vey good they magnified great but they do not fit under the bill of a hat very well at all, they are too wide. they are always in your field of vision. If you wear a flat billed hat with no bend in the bill these will work great at a great price, they just arn't good for me"

"I am constantly having to put my reading glasses on and off to tie on a hook or do anything with a smaller object. I choose not to use bifocals as my vision at a distance is very good and in addition if I did this, when I drive my boat at night, seeing is very difficult with bifocals as you get a glare from the stern light. These glasses solve all that. They stay up while I am running my boat at speeds around 50mph so that is not an issue and you can use this product while still using your polaroid glasses."

"I was looking for a device that would help me see small objects better--like small flies--especially in low light. This device is not it. It is difficult to use and it doesn't fit well if your cap brim has any bend or curl to it. It is difficult to focus on small objects--I end up moving the objects back and forth in order to focus on them. As a result it will stay at home in a drawer and I'll keep looking for a better solution."

"Thiese are a difinite need in your arsenal of fly fishing equipment. They attach to the brim of any hat, baseball, full brim, etc., so that anyone can use them. The magnification is right on the money. I sometimes fish a size 27 midge on 7x and smaller. Believe me, these glasses make all the difference. If you are undecided, don't be any more.
