"I've been float-tube fishing in South Korea for years due to the absence of boat docks. This item was a life saver if you intend on using more than one rod combination ie.. drop shot, drag, casting etc... largemouth are at the top of the food-chain along with what's refered to as snakefish which generally are ambush style of feeding "from the bottom up""

"You cannot beat Scotty products. This rod holder can be used with the straps provided on float tube or pontoon boat. With the removable head, the unit can be used with other deck or gimbal mounts from Scotty. This means that it can work with your canoe, kayak, or boat as long as you have the appropriate base. Works great."

"This rod holder works very well. I used 2 of them for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago on my pontoon float tube. They mount really well and are easily reachable. The only issue that I have is that they're extremely hard to adjust in regards to moving the direction the rod faces. Being new, the top portion of the holder doesn't come out of the lower pod very well. This makes it hard to adjust the direction your rods are facing when you're in the water. However, this is also a very good this because you know your rod holder won't just pop out and fall in the water. Overall, I am very happy with these rod holders on my tubes."

"Trying to be closer to a great spot with more than one reel and no boat. I used this product attached (harness included) to a floating tube and I can use two reels at the same time, one fixed to catch catfish and the other cast for bass. This is a great accesory for your floating tube"
