"The retractor works well for my Scissors and hook remover. The pin appeared flimsy, so I bent the saddle portion down further, which helped greatly. Now it is very difficult to open the pin, making sure it doesn't come loose when I don't want it to. The price is the best part of the item. For the money, you can't beat it."

"I wish I had bought even more of these. I bought 3 - 2 for my fisherman son to attach tools to his vest while kayak fishing and one for my work ID.
I keep thinking of more uses for these wonderful attachments. My son loved them and everyone wants one. They're great for stocking stuffers."

"This is the worst item I have ever purchased from Cabela's. The pin come open too easily and falls off. I have lost a bottle of floatant and a leader stripp because of these things. Don't trust them for a second!!!!!!"

"Attached my fishing plyers/cutter to it and then attached it to my wading jacket. It strong enough to hold them at my chest level and extends far enough to be usable when holding the rod under your arm and working on lines or flies. Keeps tools at my finger tips. When done with plyers I just drop them and they retract to my chest at the ready."

"Cabela's Small Pin-On Retractor purchase was a request from my wife. She uses it to attach her house key on the retractor and then pins it to her purse. Saves fumbling around for the house key. Works great for her.
I use mine to attach clippers while fishing. Nice size, plenty strong enough and functions smoothly."
