"I am using these in place of the zingers to hold forceps and a pair of nail clippers. I have had trouble with zingers and the net retreivers are heavier. I am very happy with them.

"This net retriever is sturdy and of good quality but.........
The reciol spring is not strong enough to hold the net up and out of the way. I was disappointed to find the net hitting the back of my knees instead of tucked behind my back as I walked to the fishing spot.
Please design this with a stronger recoil spring."

"I am usually very pleased with Cabela's brand, this has been the exception. Cable hangs down about a foot with a light weight aluminum net attached. Also cable is very short. Would not recommend."

"Hmm, head scratcher on this one as I usually love cabelas products... there is not enough wire inside the retriever to really stretch the line out while using the net? Good quality, somewhat heavy though.. I took it off after using it for one day and went back to the magnet system which works much better."

"Not made for Cabela's custom Cherrry Trout net. Net is too heavy for retriever, it never stayed retracted always hung a foot from retractor."
