Scientific Anglers Fly Floatant is one of the longer
lasting fly floatants on the fly-fishing scene today. This floatant contains no
solvents and will not damage delicate hackles. It flows easily in colder weather
and still won't liquify during the hottest of days. 1/2 oz. bottle.

Good Floatant,May 5, 2009
By njk3395from St.Clair, PA
"I'm rather new to fly fishing so I don't know to much about other brands of floatant, but I don't think it is necessary to learn. This floatant has performed very well, a small dab is all you need. It lasts pretty long too."

"I treid this floatant, as I wanted somthing that can be applied directly on the fly with minimum contact with fingers. It is easy to apply, and the bottle will not leak. But the floating capabilities of the flotant itself are very low. I 've been using Cortland spray floatant for some time and it preforms much, much better. It leaks and get's all over hands, but really make the fly float."

Good Stuff,July 1, 2007
By tc708from Minnesota
"This stuff will keep your fly high and dry. Lasts a long time, too. Dab a little on your hand and use a finger to work a little on the hackle, tail and body of the fly, throw in a couple false casts now and then to help keep the fly dry, and you're floatin' baby!
I'm new to fly fishing this year and have never used another brand of floatant so my window of comparison in non-existent, but as well as this stuff works, I see no reason to use any other kind."
