"The tippet is great for finicky trout. The 8x is wonderful for fishing midges in the small sizes like #26. The Flourocarbon is expensive but worth it especially for fishing dry flies with smart trout that see lots of fishing pressure. I use it for all my fly fishing now, even when streamer fishing in large 5x to 6x sizes. The knot strength seems to be equivalent to mono so I have no complaints..."
