"I bought the bag when it was on sale at Cabela's. I wasn't quite sure what I'd use it for, but figured I'd find a use anyway. Well, I use if for travelling for all of my makeup and hair stuff. I'm sure when Cabela's designed the bag, they didn't think it would be used for makeup and such, but it works great for anything. Since then, I have bought 4 more, my husband has his ammo in one, and hunting knives and such in the other. The other 2 I gave as gifts. Thanks Cabela's for a wonderful product!!!"

"I just started fly-fishing this year (still & saltwater), and am just beginning to accumulate tackle. This bag is amazing. It easily stores a couple of reels, tippet, two medium-sized fly boxes, and still has room for my wallet, sunglasses, sunscreen, and bugspray. It doesn't feel bulky or cumbersome when fully loaded.
One minor quibble I have is with the reel compartments at either end of the bag: I wish the zippered opening was just a little wider. This would not detract me from the purchase, however."

"I bought this for day trips, and spin fishing. I'm very pleased with this bag! It has plenty of pockets for storage and carries just about everything you will need for a day of fishing - in a very small space. The ONLY issue I've had is sometimes the zippers hang up a bit if you try to close them with one hand - but that's a very minor issue. This is a great little bag, very handy for it's intended purpose and very durable. I've had mine for a couple of years now, and it's been on lots of trips and is none the worse for wear. I wouldn't want to be without it for my trout spin-fishing trips with my wife. I intend to purchase another and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient tackle storage solution for short trips."

"This bag is the right size for keeping together the things which one needs to go with a rod. There is room for fly boxes in the outer pockets on the front and back; for tippet spools in the two end pockets; and for a reel, spare spool, extra fly lines, leaders, and tools in the main compartment. There is a useful Velcro held divider in the main compartment which helps with keeping things organised. The zippered, mesh pocket on the top is good for holding the items which one needs handy at a particular time. The mesh pockets on the very ends are, to my mind, decorative: I do not trust them to hold anything safely.
We have three of these bags: one for my son's 4 Wt outfit, one for my 5 Wt outfit, and one for my 7 Wt outfit. The theory -- and so far, the practice -- is that one grabs a rod case and the appropriate bag, then goes fishing without fear of having left something behind.
I have not paid full price for any of my three bags. At the sale price, they could not be beaten."
