"As far as the winding check goes its ok, however after looking further into other winding checks from competitors I have found this product to be high priced, and I have since began purchasing these winding checks from them. I would like to see a better selection of winding checks on cabelas as well a good quality winding check is an excellent touch to a custom rod but the cabelas winding check does not suit the need for those that are in search of a unique component."

"I'm not sure how glowing of a review one can give for a winding check other than it is exactly what was advertised. The finish is flawless, the diameter is right on, and the price is as good as a guy can find. I have purchased numerous rod building supplies from Cabela's, and have been happy with all of them."
