Pacific Bay Titanium Carbide Guide Sets

These innovative guides are constructed using a layer of TiCH (Titanium Carbide) over a chromed stainless steel frame. Titanium Carbide's unique formulation of hardness, flexibility and adhesion provides superb corrosion and abrasion resistance. The rings are comprised of diamond-polished Zirconia ceramic, which provides the same characteristics of heat dissipation and strength as Silicon Carbide rings, at a lower price. "I'm a creature of habit. When I find something that I really like - I stick with it and I've purchased these from Cabelas for years now. These guides are high quality and look good in both spinning and casting applications. I install them on all my custom split-bamboo rods and they are made to withstand the rigors of many years of use. Although slightly heavier than other guides, they are the real deal in my opinion and look great coupled with any TiCh reel seat hardware, or without. Use these guides and if you're like me, the extra weight will be barely noticable. You will find pics of them at paradigmcustomrods com if you'd like to see them installed on a cane rod. You simply can't go wrong with these guides, I hope they'll be around for a long time."

"This was the second time I used these guides for a rod and although I like the look and performance of these guides, I had a problem with availability on both occasions. Going on the second season for the first set and I am still happy with my choice."
