"I've made several rods and have found the Fuji reel seats to be light, strong, and easy to glue up on the blank. The deluxe model may cost a few dollars more than others, but the looks and quality are worth it. Besides, reel seats can be about the least expensive part of a good spinning/casting rod, and a crucial part that needs to hold up to use. I'd rather not spend all that time fitting a handle only to have to cut it off to replace a broken reel seat!"
