"The buffalo jerky is really awful. I don't know about the others. It has no saltyness and no pepper. It's like eating bland stale bacon."

"I have made Cabelas buffalo and beef jerky a staple on all of my high country back pack elk hunts. I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of these products. If anyone gripes about these products, they don't know quality or they must be into some sort of junk food! I depend on these as part of my daily ration of food on these trips. I also enjoy eating the left overs at home after the trips. Honest good food in my opinion! I'm darn glad to get it. It beats all the jerky I have tried from any other source, hands down!"

"We have had jerky from Cabelas before but this was the worst we ever had by far. We threw away about 30% because it was fat. Very disapointing..."

"The jerky was cooked in a dehydrator it is not smoked. It was still wet when recieved. Very expensive for what it is."

"I really enjoyed this jerky.
The Elk has a very peppery taste which was quite satisfying.
The Buffalo was very mild, however it did have a slight peppery flavor.
Probably my favorite would have to be the Buffalo."

"The first piece I tryed was ok, two days later it smelled funny and had a slick film on it and tasted nasty, I spit it out pronto.!I'll never buy this again. The wild game sticks are great get those instead."

"This was a Christmas gift to my 30 years son.
At first it taste great, but within the week the product started
getting moldy. I was quite up, but decided that is the way
stuff goes. I do not think this was a proper for jerky to be
moldy."
