Wild Game Variety Pack,October 5, 2007
By flyrod3from Addison, Vermont
"Just now finished the last of my variety pack, the wild boar. I marinated it for a day then grilled it...5 minutes each side. It was, literally, melt in your mouth. Sadly, it was the last package in the lot. the venison, elk, bison were equally excellent. I would recommend this variety pack to anyone who enjoys or would like to try wild game. One more thing: it does not taste "gamey". Thanks, Cabela's."

Variety Packs,December 16, 2006
By Meatloverfrom Jacksonville Florida
"I orderd the variety and a 4 pack Wild game package. The meat was excellent. I received the variety pack within 2 days, the 4 pack in 3 days. The variety pack wasn't really frozen all that solid and the package that arrived in 3 days was half thawed with a piece or two completely thawed though still cold. Everything was fine but close to being toss city on the second package. We had to use that right away.
The only comment I could make having ordered meat perishables on-line elsewhere, use dry ice instead of the ice packets. Seal the top and bottom halfs of the styrofoam cooler with cellophane tape. The cardboard boxes themselves were cool and damp when they arrived, hence, if cold air is getting out, warm air is getting in. I'd certainly be willing to pay the difference.
I will definately order again, just a little constructive critism since we're at the mercy of the delivery company. It gets hot down here. :o)"
