"So far the rain gauge seems to be reliable and accurate although it hasn't rained much since I got it. I am very happy with it. I like the way it keeps recent history on rain amounts. I also like the fact that the temperature sensor is portable and everything is wireless. I did have some problems with the installation instructions. It wasn't clear in the instructions that you needed to reset the rain gauge before you installed it. I finally figured that out though and now it's working fine. I hope it lasts."

Good rain gauge but thermometer lacks features,

"The rain guage works well. This is my third gauge. All the other's failed after a year or so. The indoor outdoor thermometer doesn't have minimum / maximum feature though and we miss that. I have another thermometer that has this and can use that but it would have been nice to have that feature on this rain gauge.
This gauge measures rain with a teeter-totter device which means the measurements are in 2/100 inch increments but that's o.k. I had one that was supposedly more accurate but it was always having issues and was very unreliable."

"3 stars for being a little too complex for the purpose - 5 stars for accuracy and doing its job. dont like the 9 day and 24 hour rainfall measurements, its easier to look at the nine day and then hit the reset button, this way its just like dumping a normal rain guage. Pretty easy on batteries, need new ones about once a year. dont worry about getting absolutly, perfectly level, mine isnt perfect and reads the same as my neighbor who did the whole leveling process. If I needed another setup I would buy this one again."

"We haven't been able to use the rain gauge portion of it yet because all we've had is snow. I do like having the little thermometer on my desk so i can know how warm it is outside. Since the thermometer is in the window it reads a little warmer then what it really is but that is understandable because of it's location. Look forward to having actual rain to measure."

"Have only had the rain gauge for a few weeks but it seems to work just fine. I like the 300 foot range for the rain gauge remote location. It was able to find the remote thermometer and the remote rain gauge with not problems. Simple setup!"
