"I ordered the flap holster for a 1911 (5" barrel). I am very pleased with the quality, but the fit is not "just right". My 1911 will fit but you need to work it into the holster. I do not like the fact that it is so tight the slide moves rearward at the end of insertion. I need to keep my thumb on the hammer end. It will probably stretch once I work it awhile. However, Triple K could eliminate this "effort" by adding one half inch to the length. This holster (as is) would be excellent for a 1911 Commander (4" barrel)."

"My new Triple K Holster performed perfectly while on my last 2 hunts. I used it to carry my sidearm while hunting Bear in PA. and again a week later for deer. "I ordered this to house my 6" Ruger GP100. Gun fits a little tight, but it does fit and the leather should stretch a little as it gets worn in. The holster also fits up to a 2.5" belt (albeit very tightly). Stitching seems firm and evenly spaced. Holster looks good. When the flap is up, the trigger is exposed. Flap down, it's secure."

"Fits the Cowboy Shooter very nice...especially appreciated the "flap" feature, very nice when walking through damp forests, storing, general protection, etc. The leather is stout, tanned nicely, and water resistant. Truly, one would be hard pressed to find such a nice fitting holster anywhere, and the price was very inexpensive for the quality of the product. First and foremost, this is a protective storage and hip holster; not a "quick-draw". I believe for those who own a delicate "charcaol blue" finished pistol, special care should be taken to ensure the finish does not "burnish off" from pulling the pistol out of the holster roughly over time. I am very pleased with this item...I love it!"

"I used this product to carry my Ruger Super Red Hawk 480 Ruger 7 1/2" while hunting and working thinning trees in the N.E. Chichagoff controlled use area of Southeast Alaska. During 2 " per day rains , and constantly being showered with conifer needles which can lock up a revolver this holster worked PERFACTLY and above my expectations .. At the end of each day I would take the revolver out of the holster and it wouldn,t even have any needles on it and would be fairly dry."
