yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls
the jacket uniformly outward. A special lead alloy dual core construction
provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact
velocities, and Nosler's integral partition supports the expanded mushroom and
still retains the rear lead alloy core. A special crimp locks in the rear core
section to provide strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy
magnums. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet

"Have had great results with these bullets in 7mm and .270 and now in .338- 210 grain bullets. These shot 1" MOA for 5 shot groups with 3 different powders! This is definitely minute of moose/bear. My next order will include .358 and .308. I have experimented with several of the different brands and other bullets but I find myself going back to the proven performers. Very accurate and deadly!! What more can anybody ask for?"

"I have been using Nosler Partitions for twenty-five years now, and they always been serious performers on big game. Recently bought some 250GR. Nosler Partitions for my custom built Ruger M77 in .338 Win Mag due to their reputation on heavy big game. Plan on handloading these bullets, and using them on a big bull elk this fall. If they work half as good as their reputation, I will not have any trouble filling the freezer for the winter."

"I've had the pleasue of hunting with many different outfitters over the years and have been fortunate enough to take some pretty nice big game animals. These outfitters really know their business, and it doesn't take long before I'd get quizzed on what kind of load I'm shooting. It never fails, from my sheep hunt in Alaska to my moose hunt in Wyoming, these guys want to be sure the bullet I use will get the job done. No doubt they have seen too many animals recovered only after a long tracking job, or wounded and lost forever.
I shoot Nosler Partitions on all my hunts. I need a bullet that stays together and gets good penetration, especially on big animals. Who wants to spend a small fortune and precious time off work only to lose a hard sought trophy because your bullet didn't perform?
I had a great year in 2006, maybe my best ever. I took a nice bull elk in Montana and a Shiras moose in Wyoming. I wasn't going to take a chance and use some lightweight bullet in my 340 Weatherby. I loaded 225 grain 338 Caliber Nosler Partitions and they performed beautifully. I dropped both animals where they stood. I felt real good that my loads worked as expected, and that I had picked the right bullet to get the job done.

Nosler Partition .338, 250 GR,November 21, 2006

"I load my own .338 ammunition and on a recent Elk hunt, I shot a 350 class Bull, at aprox 110 yds with one shot. It penetrated the lung, heart, and broke the opposite side leg. At the shot, the Bull hunched slightly, then took about 4 steps before falling over. It probably died within 15 seconds. The penetration was very impressive, but did very little damage to the hide, and meat.
Would not be afraid to use this load, in this caliber for any North American species."
