weight retention. They are ideal for use on any game and in any
situation. The fully tapered jacket ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth,
yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls
the jacket uniformly outward. A special lead alloy dual core construction
provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact
velocities, and Nosler's integral partition supports the expanded mushroom and
still retains the rear lead alloy core. A special crimp locks in the rear core
section to provide strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy
magnums. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet

"150 gr NP's at 3100 fps muzzle velocity held up at 30 yds in large Nyala in brush. Perfect .50+ expansion and deep penetration. The ability to retain 70% weight was impressive. Also dropped large Kudu at 285 yds where it stood, but penetrated completely. Great for all African plains game. Also killed Impala at 185 yds and Mountain Reedbuck at 100 yds where they stood. Will only use Nosler Partition in future as a competitive bullet at 35 yds disintegrated in a Springbok. If you have high velocity round, NPs have best ballistic coefficient for long range and toughness up close. NP Factory Ammo in 270 WM from Cabela's excellent also."

"Other bullets I have used over the years either pass through with little damage or disintegrate. The partition bullets expand perfect on the front for damage and hold together on the back for penetration. It is the best bullet made in my opinion. Won't ever use anything else."

"This is the best bullet around. 1/2" groups at 100 yards and it never fails. It is completely reliable on anything from elk down to wild pigs. Fantastic bullet. The only one I will ever use on big game."
