rear lead alloy core. A special crimp locks in the rear core section to provide
strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums. The enclosed
rear core retains more than half the original bullet weight for deep

I have used Nosler Partitions since 1964,November 18, 2008

"I started using Nosler Partitions in 1964 in a custom 25"barrel on a 7 MM Rem.Mag.That put an end to confetti regular bullets. I have 2 .338 225 grain Noslers I got out of a Moose and they weigh on a powder scale to within a tenth of a grain each.I have used .224,.257,.284,.308,and .338 and all work very well.Coyotes at about 100 Yds.broadside and exit hole is about the size of a nickel with a 7 Rem. Mag.with a 160 Partition.couldn't ask for much better!!"

"I have used many different bullets for hunting and shooting since I began reloading over 30 years ago. I have found that the partition bullet is the most effective hunting bullet on the market. I have shot numerous big game animals and have always had 1 shot kills with the partiton bullet. It is the only bullet that I have loaded with that I can make that statement with. The weight retension and mushroom of this bullet is fantastic. With this bullet from my .257 Weatherby Mark V I have 3 hole groups on paper at 200 yards that can be covered with a dime. Incredible for a magnum caliber gun even a Mark V. I load from 22-250 through 300 magnum calibers and get consistant results with every gun using Nosler Partition bullets. I highly recommend them even though they are slightly more expensive than other bullets. It really comes down to whether you want one shot one kill results?"

"I have a 25-06 that just loves the 120 gr. Nosler partition. This is the most accurate bullet that I have ever shot out of this rifle. And the 120 gr. bullet is the biggest weighted .25 cal bullet that I have come across, nice to have the extra weight and boattail design. My only concern is the price which for a box of fifty is a bit steep for my liking. But if price is no object it may be the best hunting .25 caliber bullet on the market. Excellent accuracy, penetration and expansion. I have shot many deer with this bullet and it is easy to get the right shot placemant with its wonderful accuracy confidence is no problem. If you wnat the best and budget is no problem go with the 120 gr. Nosler partition for deer sized game and you won't be disappointed."

120 grain 257 Nosler Partition Bullet,November 30, 2006

"This is one of the Partition line of bullets put out by Nosler in various calibers and weights. I shoot this bullet out of a .257 Weatherby Magnum at 3230 fps at the muzzle. I've used the bullet for many years on whitetail and mule deer as well as elk -- on which the bullet will punch clear through on a broadside shot with good placement. It stays right at 1" for 3-shot groups at 100 yards. This is an H-mantle construction bullet with the base completely wrapped in copper which allows the front to expand well at longer ranges while insuring a bullet which holds together up close as well. One of the best bullets available over the counter today and I highly recommend it to anyone!"
