noisy hunting bibs,February 12, 2009
By 14johnfrom upstate ny, hunting whitetails for over 55 years.
"The bibs seem to be well made; however, they are just too noisy for bow hunting. It would seem that in this day and age you could find a hunting garment that is quite. If you sat up in a sound proof box blind, they might work, or hunted with a rifle and took your shot at fifty yards, that would work also, but not for bowhunting. I don't mind spending the money i just hate noisy clothing. I know that making camo patterns that are not all washed out is a good thing, but for me i would take washed out camo patters over noisy clothing anyday. Besides deer are color blind. Please try to make a bib that is as quite as "dream season" pro series with scent-lok and a gore tex liner with thinsulate. That's my santa wish for the up coming deer season in the fall."

"These bibs are worth every penny. We've had a harsh winter this year, despite global warming, and I've been warm and dry while hunting. Dad told me years ago not to skimp on outdoor gear and he was right!"

"I am very pleased and will give two thumbs up to Cabela's GORE-TEX® MT050® Whitetail Extreme™ Scent-Lok® Bibs. They were very warm, kept me dry and very comfortable to wear for the 11 hours a day for the long week of hunting. I highly recommend these bibs to one and all. Thank you Cabela’s for a great product!"
"Hey if you are looking for really good quiet warm bibs then these are the ones for you. They hold up against the brush but does not make the noise. I was hunting in San Lois Valley in Colorado and the temperature was below 0 degrees so if you are looking for a quality bib then these are the ones for you. Highly recomended."

"I purchased Cabela's GORE-TEX® MT050® Whitetail Extreme™ Scent-Lok® Parka and bibs. I have used them for one season before I offering a review. When I first recieved the Jacket and bibs I was worried that they might be a little bulky. After wearing them one time I found out that couldn't be further from the truth. These are the most comfortable hunting clothes that I have ever worn. I have used them all season and they have kept warm and dry. They are a little expensive but I believe they are worth the money. Have sat out in sleet and been warm as can be. The only knock that I can say is that they are not real durable if you are going to be out walking through rough terrain. Will easily snag on thicket, fence, etc. If am going to be out walking through brush all day I have another suite that I wear. For going from camp to stand and light walking you wont't find better...."
MT050 Scent-Loc Bibs,December 3, 2008
By huntingdeerfrom Lansing, NC
"These are by far the best hunting clothing I have ever owned, only problem is I always wear a regular size. When you are sitting down they come up over my hunting boots. I'm 6' even, so if you are the same pay a few extra bucks and get the tall. One more thing they are sure warm, without the bulk."
MTO50 Bibs,November 30, 2008
By TheWIArcherfrom North Bend, WI
"So far the bibs have been as advertised. Warm, comfortable, and dry. Pockets are not where you would expect a pocket to be so that takes a little getting used to. Slightly noisy in the brush but overall the best bibs I have ever had."
MT050 Scent-Lok Bibs,February 22, 2008

"I got the bib coveralls for late deer season in Illinois. It tends to be cold in January and this year it was below zero. Overall, I was pleased with coverall as long as I was standing. When I sat down, the legs were too tight across the knees even though I got the size larger than I wear. The cold came right through so I spend the whole day mostly standing. Still, I was outside all day and was fairly comfortable. I wear large in cold wear clothers so I would recommend going to an extra large if you plan to sit."
Excellent Bibs,February 20, 2008
By 730Watersfrom Kent County,Maryland
"These bibs are very well made, and are incredibly quiet. I bought them after the bow season was over, but I have worn them and used my climbing treestand to test their mobility. I have checked these bibs out for 2 years now and finally broke down and bought them, I should have gottem them 2 years ago.................... If you don't mind spending this kind of money on the best bibs made, then these are for you.

"Having purchased the MT050 coat last year and being very happy with the it, I felt that it was time to upgrade my bibs also. These are both well made and "thought out" to have all the pockets in the right places, quiet..etc. although I would add a pocket high in the front to allow a walkie-talkie or some high use item. The outfit is a little pricey, but comfort means a lot. After all, considering the costs of firearms, archery equipment, tree stands and even gas to go on trips, it's a drop in the bucket."
Top Notch,February 11, 2008

"These are top quality bibs that compliment the MT050 parker. I use these for cold weather coyote hunting. Quiet, comfortable, lots of pockets and waterproof with Gore-Tex. Got Scent-Lok too for that extra edge… who knows if it works but I’ll take all I can get. You get what you pay for here and that’s high quality, warm hunting gear."
Comfortable and warm,January 16, 2008
By rgharrisfrom Albany, GA
"I've really enjoyed these bibs. They are very comfortable and easy to layer on or off when the weather changes. If I had a complaint it would be the straps want to slip if they are not set perfect. Nothing to worry about at all though. Wouldn't choose any other pair if I could."
