cloth, they have a chap-style double front with metal-riveted stress points. They also sport a tool
pocket on the right leg and hammer loop, a ruler pocket on the left leg and two reinforced back
pockets and a zipper fly. Cuffs fit easily over workboots, and they will accommodate knee pads.

"These dungarees are really heavy duty, yet are comfortable to wear. I had a regular weight pair of jeans and was working cutting black locust and hedge apple. My legs were getting pretty chewed-up. The Carhartts did the trick."

"Great product for the oudoor worker...the spring and fall are too warm for insulated pants, so these are perfect... However,I will suggest, DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER FOR MORE THAN 5 OR 10 MINUTES...It absolutly ruins their water resistent covering and makes these white soap lines or something all over them... looks a little silly...They are a wonderful buy, but they are expensive, so HANG THEM UP!!! They will last and stay water resistant much longer..."

"I got the pants for dove hunting and there is a bunch of star thisel out in the field, not a single thisel got to me after about 2 hours of hunting. "Do alot of construction work, and am always getting down in the mud and water. These pants hold up great. Love the double knee. Had to wash them a couple of times before I wore them though, because they are very stiff when you get them."

"These jeans hold up well. Great double fronts last a lot longer for my husband who spends a lot of time on his knees as a mechanic. They seem to run a size small and will shrink if not washed in cold water. Good jeans. I will buy more, just a size bigger."

"I was working in heavy, thorny brush cutting firewood with my usual jeans. A day later my knee began to hurt. I went to the doctor several days later. She pulled out a couple pieces of thorn. I was motivated for a good pair of "brush jeans". After a quick delivery, I was back out in the brush getting ready for the winter. Awesome brush walking. No problems at all. The brush just "brushed by". I definitely would recommend these pants to anyone doing rough work."

"If you want tough, these are the toughest pants around. Remember tough skins kids pants from the seventies, these seem to be toughskins DAD. These pants stand up to the toughest jobs I can put them up against. They do tend to stain a bit easier than I would like but then they are work pants. I have managed to put a few small holes in a pair or two but that was from cutting torch sparks. I've used them for years and will not buy anything else. A++"

"the carhartt double front pants is all i ever now for working in the field i am in the construction busness helping to build schools as well as a second company in temporary job site fencing and i love these pants they wear well and last longer than any pants i have every owned one down side is in cali where i am from it gets to be 110 in the summer and they do tend to get alittle warm then but it is not intollerable"
