"This is everything i hoped it would be. Very large spacious pockets but not overwhelming. large storage compartment in back for packing on short hikes. only down side is the radio pocket is on the left shoulder and i am a left handed shooter sometimes gets in the way but that is nothing to lose a star over another great cabelas product"

"Very well made, has a huge pocket in the back for all kinds of stuff, you really could use it as a pack. Used it on an elk hunt and it worked out great. It has a lining, but it looks like it was put in to back all the pockets more than an insulator. I'm going to get a second one to put away."

"The "Pack Vest" lets me keep my most used accessories handy. I have been guiding elk and mule deer hunts in the San Juans for 14 years and hunted the same rugged area for 23 years and have tried MANY different packs. None of them are truly convenient and comfortable. With the "Pack Vest" I don,t have to be a contortionist to reach my water bottle or remove my pack to retrieve other needed items. For a day of hunting this sure beats carrying a pack. I would recommend this to any hunter who hunts on the move. I'm just waiting for someone to develop a pack with cargo and water access "in the front"!!!"

"I was looking for a good and sturdy vest to wear while working in the field that would also let me blend in to the background. Although I haven't had this vest very long, I can tell that it will hold up well in the field. I really like the roomy back pocket for extra gear as well as the grommet-ed hole on the upper left side for tying off the compass and dog whistle. As I tend to be very rough on my outdoor gear, I am pleased with the quality and sturdiness of this vest."

"A well thought out serious piece of hunting equipment. The camo pattern is in my opinion a distinct advantage over solid blaze. The front pockets carry all the stuff needed during the hunt while the ample back pack/pocket carries all the stuff you hope you'll never need, as in your survival gear. My GPS rides in the breast pocket tethered by lanyard to the adjacent grommet thoughtfully provided. Mine is already broken in with blood from this year's antelope and in a couple of weeks I'll wear it on my elk hunt. My hunting buddy liked mine and will be ordering one of his own."

"I purchased this vest not too long ago from one of Cabela's retail stores. The fit is perfect, the number of pockets and the size of them will work great for the typical stuff that I carry in the field.
Blaze is not required in the states that I hunt, but I like to be visible to other hunters anyway. This definatly will do the job.

"I exchanged a different vest I bought here for this one. The material is better and lighter. It fits fine over my three layers, which include a wool sweater and bulky coat. "My Father, Son and I have been wearing the Ultimate Pack Vest for over 4 years now. We hunt in the brushy regions of Western Washington for Blacktails and our vests have held up great! The vests have plenty of pockets and grommets for all the gear you could ever imagine stowing or connecting to the vest. After surviving the rigors of hanging up on vinemaple, limbstobs from downed timber, and the occasional sliding down a rocky ledge, our vests are still ready for another hunt without the torn pockets and loose stitching of other products."
