"I've installed these on all my shotguns without ribs. Easy and secure mounting can be accomplished in mere seconds. For a middle age guy whose vision is experiencing normal middle age deterioration a glow sight of some sort as opposed to the standard bead is a must. These enhance un-ribbed shotguns very well."

"I put this on an old Remington model 11 16ga that I have. It went on very easily and seemed very secure.Walking out to where I do my shooting I noticed that the glow of the sight was REALLY bright! I shot a total of 25 rounds,slugs,buckshot and regular shotshells,the majority was slugs and buckshot.The sight stayed where I had installed it on the barrel and as I said was bright and quick to pick up.I had been thinking of getting rid of this shotgun.Now I have this sight on it I think I wil keep it as a home defense shotgun!"

"I like plain barrel shotguns, but I like them even more now that you can get an easy-to-install light-gathering front sight for them. I have a number of plain barrels and I put these Glo-Dots on all of them. Works on 12, 16 and 20 ga guns. Best part is, you can remove it from one gun and put it on another if you are careful."

"Clipped right on to my Mossberg 500 12 gauge....no problemo. Took a couple of tries, you gotta get it just right as it won't slide once on. I've shot a couple of mountain pigs with this rig using Brenneke slugs, just put the front bead on 'em and let em have it, very accurate. Got tired of having to Flitz the front bead, as brass tarnishes quickly here in the islands (humidity). Now I can see the bead clearly in low light conditions, which is when Mr. Big always seem to show up lol."

"Installed easiley as direction stated, but broke in half lengthwise after a week of being install on the barrel. Never got a chance to go a shoot it before it broke."

"I received this sight in the mail this morning and mounted it on my H&R 20 gauge Pardner single shot. It fit like a dream with no problems. For the fun of it went out back and tried it on some hand throw clays and killed 23 out or 25. Not bad for a 71 old curmudgeon who eyes aren’t as good as they used to be. I than tried it with Remington Sluggers at 50 yards and held a two and a half group with five shots. I would recommend this sight to anyone at any time."

"Without consulting a gunsmith (which are as plentiful as hen's teeth in Mass.) I was able to upgrade my old 870 with this sight. An earlier review complained about the sight slipping. I haven't had this problem, but a dab of silicone would cure it with no harm to the barrel. I consider this sight an optimum solution for improving the factory sight on a non-ribbed barrel and highly recommend it."

"The sit is good, but I had to glue it to the barrel otherwise the recoil would move the site on every shot. It realy needs some kind of adhesive to remain on true sight picture."
