Avery Finisher Blind=Greatest layout Blind,October 29, 2009

"This last summer I was inthe market for a good layout blind that met the following conditions: comortable yet low profile, easy to set up and take down...even in the dark, and easy to carry. I had used the Groundforce blinds before and liked them very much, including the way it folded into a back pack. I ended up finding a great deal on a shadowgrass finisher blind, so I decided to try it out not knowing what it was like. It ended up being the best desicion Ive made in waterfowl gear. Ive since spray painted it (I highly recommend this rather than mudding which is messy!) and grassed it up, and used it on september goose hunts and so far killed many ducks in areas where nobody can get to, because they don't have a blind. The blind itself has lots of room for shells, calls, coffee etc, and lots of leg room for bigger guys or if your wearing bulky waders. Its very easy to see out of, and the doors pop open quickly when shooting at birds. I just ordered a second Finisher blind with some killer weed to add to my waterfowl arsenal in the field. As a result, I have much wider range of areas I can hunt and so far have seen alot greater success in birde numbers! Thanks Avery! Great blind!"

"I like the blind but it is built not for the hunter in mind. In the field on a cold day the push pins are a nightmare to get loose i suggest you think hard before you buy this blind. Also the weight is more then 18 lbs and not easy toting, also the flaps do not stay closed when you want them to. I think the blind is good overall but not for the money that i paid for it."

"I bought my new finisher blind about 2 years ago and it is the best blind that i have bought so far. I have had many different types of blinds from final aproach to goose view and some others and the finisher is well worth it. When you consider that you spend a lot of time in the blind on cold ground then you want the best you can get. You already spent the money on the calls the decoys why not make yourself comfortable. This is a blind that is easy to see out of which is one of the most important things i think."

"I bought the Avery finisher in the Duck Blind Camo. My old blind was a FA which was also a good blind but the Avery seemed to have more of what I was looking for. This blind is worth every penny. I have a 90 pound Lab and he fits in by my feet, not very roomy for him but he has never complained. If your old blind is broke, and your not this is your blind, this blind is the workhorse of its class. I have actually woke up to my dog shaking and whining and saw a half dozen geese walking 10 yards from me. ( dropped 2!!) If there was a 10 star option I would have hit it."

"The doors have rigid supports in in the seam that prevrnts you from being able to put your head out. At first it didn't bother me until I looked out to see my 4 buddy's with their heads out, getting the first view of the birds. I use Avery alot, and I am not dissappointed with this blind, just picky. Soooo, I opted to send it back and ordered the Corn Belt camo Cabelas Layout instaed...saved $100+. Otherwise, the blind is very sturdy, easy to set up, but a bit on the dark side of camo."

"i received the avery finisher just in time for our march season ... very pleased,well made ,easy to set up and take down even in the dark. i like it's light weight and it folds small enough making it easy to carry and i give it a plus for comfort. we had a lot of snow and below freezing temperatures, i stayed pretty warm and dry as the geese were falling from the sky...buy one , you won't go wrong!"
