There's nothing worse than cold, numb and soaking-wet hands when you're trying to shoot. We redesigned our Deluxe Shooting Gloves to protect your hands from any cold weather element that could prevent you from enjoying the action. We added an ultrasoft tricot lining to draw moisture away from your hands so it can pass through the breathable GORE-TEX® Flex insert. This combination eliminates cold, clammy hands, in addition to providing 100% waterproof/breathable performance. The DuPont 330 Cordura® Ambush Cloth shell now features cut-and-sewn articulation on the thumb and first knuckle for freedom of movement without stretching the rest of the shell. Soft, smooth leather facing on the palms and fingers lets you grip any firearm securely, while the trigger finger is
covered with Lycra® for greater shooting dexterity. The 150-gram Thinsulate Insulation inside keeps hands and fingers toasty warm, yet still keeps the glove slim with full dexterity. We also extended the nylon-rib knit cuffs so cold air and moisture can't find their way in, and the nylon web wrist strap with nonslip adjustable buckle seals in warmth. Includes elasticized wrists on the palm side. Imported.
Sizes: S-2XL.
Camo patterns:Mossy Oak® New Break-Up™,
Realtree® AP HD®,
Mossy Oak® Duck Blind®,
Blaze Orange,
Advantage MAX-4 HD®.

DELUXE SHOOTING GLOVES,March 1, 2010
By coltssfrom Northern California
"I do not use the gloves to shoot with because they are bulky. I use them for fly fishing in cold wet weather. These gloves are definetly warm and waterproof. I would of given them a 5 but they are too stiff. Maybe after several uses they may soften up, but overall a good glove."

Even XL is snug -- order larger,February 9, 2010
By Gunner06from Atlantic Flyway
"Good standard gloves that provide warmth in hunts down into the teens and low twenties; even ordering XL, though, they seem snug -- order larger size than you might normally wear."

Cabelas Gore-Tex Gloves,February 9, 2010
By Whiskey05
"Last Christmas I recieved these gloves as a gift from Santa. First day I used them they were thrown into the bottom of my bag! I waded out to replace some batteries in a mojo duck and a few motion ducks and my hands were soon frozen from the water. I thought these special gloves were waterproof?!?! Apparently not. I had trouble loading shells into the shotgun because the fingers were too wide. The last thing you want to do is fumble around with a loaded gun trying to put your finger in the trigger hole!"

Cabelas Gortex Deluxe shooting gloves,February 8, 2010
By bthunter019
"I bought these right after christams. I was looking for a good pair of gloves. I can't tell you how many pair I have been through. I couldn't find any that would keep my hands warm but also let me shoot without all the bulkiness. I figured I would give these a try. Used them to put out and pickup decoys in freezing water. Never got wet on the inside or cold fingers. They are awesome. Goin to get another pair for that just in case moment."

warm shooting gloves,February 8, 2010
By DougCOfrom Colorado
"These are great gloves. They keep your hands warm but do feel a little bulky to shoot with. They do have a natural curve built into them which aids in gripping you gun."

keep you warm/dry, but no good for gun handling,February 8, 2010
By bdmd5093from South Georgia
"I purchased a pair of these for an Arkansas duck hunt in January. Before taking them on the hunt, I practiced with clay targets with the gloves on to see if I could get into my shell pocket, pick up shells, load, and fire safely. Unfortunately I could not. While the trigger finger is lycra, it is also insulated with goretex and thinsulate, and is still relatively thick and bulky. They did not allow me the dexterity I needed to grasp shells quickly, load, and fire--I felt like I was fumbling around, and I could not even grasp the zipper on my jacket with them on. They do however keep your hands warm and dry. I would not recommend them for wearing while handling a gun and shells."

very poor,February 1, 2010
By BanjoScottfrom Eastern Shore, MD
"these looked great online. I've never bought any Cabela's brand gear I didn't like until these gloves. They were too bulky to provide as little warmth as they did. They are not shooters gloves either. I had a hard time flicking off my safety and finding the trigger when a flock of geese came in. After that I decided I was better off with out them on. So i wore them for about a half hour total and sent them back that day."

Cabela's Gore-Tex Deluxe Shooting Gloves,January 19, 2010
By Camodudefrom Oklahoma City, OK
"These gloves are great. They have enough Thinsulate to keep your hands warm, but the trigger-finger doesn't have the bulk, so you can still load your gun and shoot with out the bulky glove getting in your way."

hands always cold!,January 15, 2010
By fasteddiefrombrooklyn
"I am 63 years old and in poor health. The circulation in my hands is very bad so my hands get cold quickly. These shooting gloves are top rate as they kept my hands both warm and dry in some pretty nasty upstate new york weather this past deer season. Great product; Great company CABELAS!"

WARM AND DRY,January 12, 2010
By rzukesfrom North Idaho
"I FINALLY SPLURGED ON A GOOD PAIR OF GLOVES. ACTUALLY CAUGHT THEM ON A GOOD CHRISTMAS SALE. THESE ARE THE WARMEST GLOVES I HAVE HAD. USED THEM ALL DUCK SEASON AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY. I WORE THEM WHILE COLLECTING DEEKS OUT OF THE WATER, AND MY HANDS STAYED DRY. NO PROBLEM GRIPPING THE SHOTGUN, OR WORKIG THE PUMP. THE TRIGGER FINGER HAS A LITTLE LESS MATERIAL WICH IS GOOD FOR SHOOTING, BUT CAN GET A LITTLE COLDER THEN THE REST OF THE HAND. WILL USE THEM TILL THEY WEAR OUT!"

Gloves,January 7, 2010
By lilsaintfrom North Platte, NE
"These gloves are great as far as waterproofing and picking up decoys out of the water. The only problem i have is my fingers froze in 20 degree weather and colder. Might just be because of the cold water. dont put them on untill you get to the hunting ground. You will sweat in them on the way and then they freeze."

Do yourself a favor and buy these gloves,December 22, 2009
By DT55
"I think it is clear to see by the other reviews that you will never be able to make everyone happy.
The bottom line is this, if you are looking for a glove to keep your hands warm and dry BUY THESE. I have owned 5-6 different pair and these are the best by far. They are made for cold weather, so YES they are thicker than a pair of shooting gloves. However, they are a good bit thinner than other gloves with the same insulation. Also the trigger finger is not as insulated as the rest of the gloves, but it does allow you to shoot. If I lost them today, I would replace them tomorrow."
