"I've used this kent shell for 3 years now and have never had a problem...great knock down and i'm not chaseing cripples around anymore...all my hunting buddies have since changed to kent shells...I've used this on everything from teal to large geese...speed does kill!!!!!!"

"This is the first time I have used this ammo. I like that it is one of the faster shooting ammos out there, but at the same time it is one of the dirtier ammos I have shot. It seems that all the powder does not burn so as a result your barrel is rather dirty."

"My buddy and I hunt mainly in swamps in knee deep water. It is impossible to keep anything dry gloves, gun, shells etc... We have gone through one case so far and have had zero issues with these shells. They hit hard and pattern nicely through my Benelli Nova. Same for my buddies 870. Wet or dry for us they crush ducks and always fire. Clean firing too! Will definitely be buying another case soon."

"I shoot waterfowl mostly in the Missouri Flyway. I shoot 3 1/2 12g 2 shot at ducks. Good pattern and great knock-down power out to 40 yards. Improved or Modified chokes work best."

Lot's of Duds in a Case of Kents,

"On the advice of a friend, I bought a case of 12ga 3.5 Kent Faststeel BB last year. They patterned nice w/my Mossberg and my friends guns--when they fired! I know it sounds odd, but I was getting 1-4 duds in each box of 25. It did the same thing in my buddies' guns as well--INCLUDING the guy who urged me to buy them in the first place! I used the last half of the case on clays this July and they behaved the same in the hot and dry as they did in the wet and cold--we had a pile of duds by the end of the day."

"My buddy reccomended this stuff. It can penetrate all the way through the chest plate of a high flying mallard. I like the heavy type loads, but my gun does not so I switched to Kent Fasteel (ejection issues). It is fast and lethal, but most of all fairly cheap. It has taken many ducks and geese even into the late season with heavy plumage. It is not the best on the market, but for the buck it is the best available. You will know when you shoot it, and feel it. That's good right."

"these shells pattern great in my remington 1187 supermag they do the job at geese that are high up there but sometimes the shells don't fire but great shells and good prices my favorite are the 3 1/2 1550 fps #1s"

"Pattern 10 different boxes of duck and goose loads out of my mossberg 930 with a briley light mod and briley improved mod choke. These were the best. 12 gauge, 3", 1 1/4 oz, #3's for ducks and the same load in #1's for geese . BBB and BB in the same shot charged pattern well also."

"used 3 1/2 inch 12 ga bbs in my beretta extrema 2. deadly on first shot at canada geese. however, if a follow-up shot was needed--shells jammed in my gun. lost several geese this past season due to jams."

"These shells would not eject because the brass expanded in the chamber. This could be due to week brass or too much powder. I shot several boxes of these in a 3 1/2" 12ga before I figured out the problem. I thought it was an ejector malfuction with the gun but when the ejector ripped the lip off of the brass I assumed it was fuctioning properly. They might be a fast hard hitting load but if it is at the expense of turning your gun into a single shot it is not worth it. Buy Winchester."
