Actually I am really upset with Cabela, the Lead Sled Solo that I really wanted was sold out the first day into a major sale. There were none at the ware house and at any other stores."

"This product will not work on the standard swivel studs on a Ruger Safari Magnum or a Winchester Model 70 Safari Classic. There is a protrusion on the lower part of the swivel that reduces the interior width."

Special Set for My New 10/22,March 17, 2009

"Now these turned out to be just what I needed for my new 10/22 carbine. The set came with two sling swivels, screws, and all, but it also included an extra thingie especially for the 10/22 carbine. The one with the barrel band. Of course, like with any set of swivels for a rifle that does not already have the bases installed, you do have to drill a hole in the stock near the butt plate. Fortunately, I have a gun vice to hold the rifle rock solid steady for that. Anybody installing a swivel base with need something that won't mar the stock for that task. The rest of the installation was very easy."
