Best boot for the bucks,December 5, 2007
By BigMIFishermanfrom Alpena, MI
"I've had a pair of these for 4 years now, and they hold up to the ice, snow and cold of a Northern Michigan winter. They're great for ice fishing, running the snow blower or anytime you are outside for extended periods in the cold. They're a little heavy for doing and serious hiking, and they don't offer a ton of ankle support, but at the price ... you can't beat them. After 4 years of wearing mine in these conditions they still look like new. If they ever wear out, I'll certainly buy another pair."

dry and cozy,September 30, 2009
By wannebefrom Idaho
"Make sure you wear then in before use for they are stiff new. The insert is very confortable and warm and easy to wash. Had to wade through 3/5 inches of a stream, no problem in staying dry. Traction is excellent. Thought I needed 1.5 size larger for extra socks to stay warm. Did not need it but I was not in ice and heavy snow but feel that the boots will do well. Can't stress the "break in" period enough."

Better than described,March 30, 2009
By GrandRancherfrom Colorado, high country rancher
"At our high mountain ranch just west of the continental divide at 8400 ft., the temperature gets 5-20 F below in the winter. In the spring and fall the temperature runs 5- 20 degrees in the morning and afternoon when we feed the livestock. These boots are superb for the spring and fall. That's what I bought them for, and my feet are almost as toasty warm as when I am wearing my 2000 thinsulate midwinter boots! I will buy another pair as soon as I finish this review."

Snow Pac Boots,February 25, 2009
By fletcher927from Ann Arbor, MI
"I love these boots! I bought my first pair a few years ago, when I was looking for something to keep my feet warm when spending time with my horse in the winter. This was the first pair of boots I have ever found that are warm, durable and comfortable. I think the best part is that you can slip them on without even having to untie them. Since I loved my pair so much, I started buying them for close family members for holiday gifts. My Dad wears them to shoot in the winter, my brother-in-law to shovel his drive and when he plays with his kids in the snow, and my fiance' wears them when he walks his dog. We all have nothing but great things to say about them. In addition to the great quality, the price is hard to beat!"

Very Warm,February 9, 2009
By InDaDeerstandfrom Virginia
"I bought some LaCrosse Alpha Rackmaster boots early in deer season and although all they talked about was great for keeping your feet warm, they weren't, so ordered these. I was worried when I first tried the Cabelas Snow Pac on though, as they were a little tight on the sides. After a full day on my feet with a high of 20 my feet were nice and warm and the felt had given in so I had room. These boots are great so far and now I have early season boots, and a cold weather pair too. Lesson learned: for cold weather always get boots with a felt liner."

Not Waterproof,February 9, 2009
By Drinchedfrom Greeley, CO
"First trip out was to Granby fishing tournament. Lake Granby was snow covered with areas of slush. Pac boot remained dry for less than an hour where suede upper leaked on both boots and soaked the liner."

Great Value,February 4, 2009
By Scott825from upstate NY
"I have worn these boots in temps. down to about -5F. They have kept my feet warm for however long I've been out in the cold. The boots are a great value for the money. The only downside is that the uppers are not waterproof. I did buy these knowing that and any water I have come accross has been frozen anyways."

I Like these,February 3, 2009
By KLWC
"You can't beat the price. I got these boots for a trip to Maine and my feet were never cold. These boots are also great for ice fishing. They will keep your feet warm even if you are not moving around much. The leather upper is not waterproof and cannot be treated with mink oil. Instead, the liners are waterproof. I've never had an issue with wet feet. The only drawback is that these boots become a bit heavy when the leather gets wet. If you consider the price, the weight is no big deal."

Better than the other guys,February 3, 2009
By NortShorSvenfrom Two Harbors, MN
"These boots are AWESOME. I have worn them on 3+ mile hikes in the woods at 30 above and 10 below and they were comfy, sturdy, steady, and ready. I have worn them to snowblow the driveway, and to wander the back part of my property on the North Shore of Lake Superior. I would and have told others to go buy some and love them, too.....and I am replacing my liners from that other company's boot I still use when I want to snowshoe the tough stuff, with the liner that matches the one in my Snow Pac.....I'll use "the other guys" for "beater boots", and my Cabela's will be my Rolls Royce's :-)"

Good Boots Good price,January 28, 2009
By threedogsfrom Western Wisconsin
"Very reasonably price. My husband wanted these boot for everyday wear. It has been a cold winter here in Western Wisconsin with many days 10 to 20 below zero and 18 inches of drifted snow and ice on the ground. He still gets out in the woods to cut wood. I haven't heard any complaints from him about these boots."

Decent but not great,January 28, 2009
By Antiherofrom Priest Lake ID
"Overall worth the money but not mindblowing. They are sturdily built and warm, but the liner is so fluffy that when you first start wearing them you think you should have bought 2 sizes bigger."
