Slumberjack Kodiak Sleeping Bag - 7 bags in 1,October 22, 2007
By WileyWapiti87from NW Colorado
"This bag was actually recommended to me by a friend - this recommendation was GOLD! I recently got back from an elk hunting trip above 9000ft - the temperatures dropped severely and we got dumped on with snow. My other tent mates had to get up a few times to stoke the stove for more heat, I chose the corner furthest from the stove and never lost a wink of sleep. I stayed plenty warm with the bag completely put together (7 units). Thank you Cabela's for providing another great product for your customers to choose from. I will be recommending this bag to my family and friends as well."

Kodiak/Slumberjack,November 19, 2009
By OTRDriver
"I have recently perchased this sleeping system for use in my truck. As I travel the 48 states year round, I wanted a sleeping bag for all seasons. As it has a tie in sheet and a snap in comforter that can be used independantly, it really does meet my needs. And if I have the unfortunate experience of breaking down in Wyoming during extrieme cold, I know I will be kept warm using the entire system as one bag (-40 degrees). I would recommend this bag to any driver or anyone who wants this kind of versitility. It is not suitable for backpacking though."

Hunting Camp Bag,November 18, 2009
By noworriesfrom Cape Cod, Mass
"I have many sleepings ranging across the entire range of fills, sizes, styles and price ranges. It was about time to shop around and get one specifically for winter hunting camps. One that had plenty of room and could be configured for a broad range of temperatures and weight did not matter. I just came back from the White Mountains where it was cold in the camp. This Slumberjack Kodiak Sleeping Bag was perfect. The only thing that you needed to pay attention to was zippering it closed for the lining can easily get stuck in the zipper. A number of the guys are now looking to buy the same bag."

Slumberjack 7 in 1 sleeping bag,November 9, 2009
By magloaderdavefrom Holden,maine
"I bought this bag to use on a moose hunt but figured I would not need all of the parts put together; anyway the furnace died in the camper and it was -10 or colder that week I was very warm and comfortable while the people I was hunting with froze. This bag is worth every penny."

sleeping bag,October 28, 2009
By vivorapeligrosofrom Trinidad, Colorado
"The bag was great, comfortable, warm, roomy. I love that removable sheet to wash and make up a fresh bed. The extra large cot was a great compliment to the bag. I only wish those plastic caps on the ends of the metal pieces would stay in. I lost several of them and now have some rough edges that might damage the cot lining."

NICE SLEEP CHAMBER,October 27, 2009
By MrMeatfrom Rigby, ID
"For several years I've used a down mummy bag inside of a cotton rectangular bag and a quilt on top to keep me warm during these cold Idaho evenings. I get cold easy at night and don't like to wear anything more than my Fruit of the Looms. I used the whole sleep system with no additional quilts during late September. The temperatures at night were around 35 degrees Fahrenheit. I was looking for the vents as I woke up wet with sweat. I also had plenty of room to move around. Perfect! Finally a bag that is comfy and warm. This bag will be perfect for what I bought it for: base camping on a cot. Now I need to find a comfy, warm bag for backpacking."

Slumberjack Kodiak Sleeping Bag,September 30, 2009
By snuffalupugusgulupogusfrom Denver, Colorado
"Used during hunting and camping in late summer and fall. Very warm bag, and very large as well. Can be a little irritating to zip bags back together into the coldest rated bag. Lots of room and is very comfortable. Overall I am very pleased with product."

Awesome bag,September 11, 2009
By Oregonshooterfrom Portland, Oregon
"I love the bag, the thing is huge and heavy. If you are going backpacking do not buy this bag. For every other outdoor use it is the perfect bag. I used it the first time as a complete bag and had tons of room to move without becoming tangled in the bag and it kept me plenty warm. It was a rather temperate night and with the complete thing together I was too hot. I was also too lazy to re-configure it. I would highly recomend this sleepig bag!"

Great Sleeping Bag For Car Camping,September 10, 2009
By CarCamperFromWVfrom St. Albans WV
"I car camp a lot in the mountains of WV and was looking for a large 3 season sleeping bag for about 2 yrs now that can handle the various night tempratures that I have run into. None have met my needs until I found this jewel. In fact it is a 4 season bag that can be configured to meet any weather conditon. The bag quality is excellent and it is very roomy. I really like the roominess of the bag. I have used it in both warm and cold weather and have stay comfortable. The only thing, don't expect to backpack with this bag. At 24 lbs and wider then your normal sleeping bag, it is definitely design for car camping. This sleeping bag is well worth the money I spent."

Sleeping Bag to end all sleeping bags!,August 3, 2009
By pwe300from Wyoming
"I bought this bag after reading through the majority of reviews that have been posted here. Let me tell you that the bag is huge! They really mean it. Since getting it have had it unzipped and in the double size state and then zipped back into the single size (which is still very large). It has worked beautiful both times and I will be using it this fall and winter in the mountains of Wyoming. Very nice bag and if you don't mind the size it will work for all kinds of weather."

Slumberjack Kodiak Sleeping Bag,February 24, 2009
By Jim765474from Chandler, AZ
"Unless you are backpacking or are cramped for equipment space, this is the only sleeping bag you will ever need. It's not light and it takes up quite a bit of space when rolled-up, but boy, is it warm and comfortable! It is by far the most versatile bag I've ever owned or seen...and with $100.00 off the regular price, how can you go wrong? I've recommended it to friends who have already purchased their own with the same results/comments."

slumberjack kodiak sleeping bag,February 4, 2009
By macindc
"I had the opportunity to use my slumberjack in late January when the temperature dipped to the low teens with a moderate breeze. I also used an xl cot and an ultimate pad under the bag. I was quite cozy, and although I could see my breath when I went to sleep, it wasn't so cold that I felt the need to cover my head with a cap or close the top of the sleeping bag. Once inside, the bag held my body heat nicely. I slept well in my long johns and a pair of socks. Great bag!"

"Two weeks after getting my new 7 in 1 bag I went deer hunting in the mountains in Nevada. The day we arrived in camp it snowed. The temp droped to around 25 degrees maybe single digets at night. I stayed warm & toasty all night every night. Good bag I highly recomend it to people who are cold at night."
