Based on the optical excellence of Canon EF camera lenses, the Image Stabilizer Binocular system virtually eliminates the image shake common with high-magnification binoculars. Even when viewing from a non-stationary object like a vehicle or boat, the image is held crystal clear and steady. Ultra-Low Dispersion Glass minimizes chromatic aberrations for exceptional image quality. Extra-long eye relief enables eyeglass wearers to view the entire field. The 8 x 25 compact model is the world's smallest image-stabilizing binocular. All operate on two AA batteries (8x25 operates on CR123A battery, included), sport a water-resistant rubberized covering and come with a a soft case and carrying strap.

IS is great., November 4, 2009
    By BowSpy from NJ

"These binoculars are great. I hold them up and the image is shaky. A push of the magic IS button and the image goes from shaking to a slow movement which allows you to see great detail in what you are viewing. I was lucky enough to see a bald eagle with them right after I purchased them and the IS feature allowed me to enjoy the experience even more."

Canon Image Stabilized 8x20 binocular, September 2, 2009
By DesignMan from According to the Governator, Kahlifonia

"Crystal clear optics with no distortion that I can see, and I AM picky! The stabilization works pretty well, but I have very shakey hands, and it is not totally adequate. Not a problem for anyone (normal) else who has tried them. My only real complaint is that the button to turn the stabilization on is in an awkward place and requires enough force to make me shake worse.

For anyone with normal coordination, I suspect it would be a 5-star product.

    Like a rock, October 23, 2008
    By WildWaDave from Redmond, WA

"You don't really appreciate the benefit of image stabilization till you start using it. It makes it feel like the binocs are on a tripod, rock solid. I would not normally use a 10X binoc as the shakiness of the image tires my eyes. With these, you can use them all day long. They even work when glassing from a moving boat or truck. I let my buddy Mark use them, and he was sold. He could afford any optics made, but he chose the same pair."

NICE NICE NICE!, September 22, 2008
    By VONSTORMER from SPOKANE,WA

"MY NEW CANON IMAGE STABILIZED BINOS ARE HARD TO BELIEVE. THOUGH NOT INEXPENSIVE, THE FACT THAT THEY PROVIDE AN IMAGE THAT IS HELD PERFECTLY STILL IS AMAZING. IF BEING ABLE TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT IS THE IDEA, THESE BINOS SURPASS WAY HIGHER PRICED BRANDS. I STEPPED UP TO 12 POWER AND AM GLAD I DID. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM."

Canon IS as Canon Does, January 17, 2008
    By viewmaster from Cumming, GA

"I bought the Canon IS binocs on the recommendation of my stargazing friend. Finally a pair of binoculars that I can actually see things with. Having a pair of 10 power Image Stabilizers is worth more than all the other high power glasses that I have. Now if I can only get them away from my wife who uses them to watch the white-tail does that visit our property in the mountains."

    Canon Image Stabilizer Binoculars 10 X 30 IS, January 7, 2008
    By PeteV from Louisville, KY

"The Canon 10X30IS are overall very good binoculars.
Visual clarity is excellent and very comfortable on the eyes to use. Image stabilization is better than I expected and very easy to use.
The binoculars are less bulky than I expected.
    Quality binoculars with no negatives.

    Look & See, April 2, 2007
    By Bobbies from Marshall, Texas

"When you look you can see the distance with these Canon 30x50 binoclars. I bought them for my wife's bird watching. She says they are a tad heavy but wouldn't give them back.
The Image Srabillizer System is worth it.

Excellent For Spotting, December 1, 2006
    By JustinC from Washington

"These binoculars are awesome. With these you can see 10 times more deer because of the image stabilizer. I own Swarovski that are like 3 times the price but i prefer to use my canons. The image stabilizer makes a world of a difference. And you cant beat the price."
